Select the magnifying-glass icon and search for a useful word or phrase, such as dentist appointment.
Search is designed to help with both future planning and historical questions. It can find Calendar items, Address Book contacts, Notes, Lists and Meals.
For repeating calendar items, Search uses the same occurrence rules as Calendar. A moved one-year occurrence does not leave the suppressed original date behind as an Upcoming result, and Completed/Skipped results use the saved occurrence state. Upcoming yearly birthdays are shown using their next occurrence rather than the original birth year.
Use Overdue for unfinished one-off tasks whose date has passed. Missed is used for missed occurrences from repeating task series and their one-year exceptions.
